# Geometric shapes. Working with a primitive.
Select the object type primitive and set its geometry. The constructor provides plane, circle, box, sphere, cone, cylinder, torus and octahedron. Standard settings are available. You can set transparency and change the color. You can also apply a texture (an image or video). For example, you can upload an image of a soccer ball layout and apply it to a sphere to get a three-dimensional ball.
